1. Data controller

The controller is Leonardo Turriziani — Typos Studio, based at Via Cavour 9, 03100 Frosinone (FR), Italy. You can write to info@studiotypos.it.

2. Data we process

When you use the contact form, you deal directly with Typos Studio and provide your name, email address and the contents of your message. The form opens the email application configured on your device, so the message is delivered through the sender’s and recipient’s email providers.

To keep the website available and secure, the hosting service may process technical data such as IP address, request date and time, device and browser type, requested URL and security logs. The website does not use analytics, profiling or advertising tools.

The website reads the browser’s preferred language locally, solely to offer the English version when the main language is not Italian. No geolocation takes place and this information is not sent to Typos Studio. Your language choice is stored on your device.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Replying to enquiries and assessing a potential project: steps taken at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Managing correspondence and protecting legal rights: legitimate interests of the controller, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Ensuring operation, security and abuse prevention: legitimate interests of the controller and hosting provider, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Meeting legal obligations: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, where applicable.

Providing data through the form is optional, but without the requested details it may not be possible to reply.

4. Recipients and service providers

Data may be processed by providers acting on the controller’s behalf, only as required to provide their services:

  • OpenAI Ireland Ltd, which hosts the website through ChatGPT Sites and acts as a processor under its Data Processing Addendum.
  • The sender’s and recipient’s email providers, which deliver and manage correspondence.
  • Public authorities or other parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect a legal right.

OpenAI may use the sub-processors listed in its documentation. Where processing involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, safeguards provided by the GDPR are used, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention periods

Messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and generally no longer than 12 months after the last contact, unless a professional relationship begins, a legal right must be protected or the law requires a different period. Technical data and hosting logs are kept only for the periods needed for security, operation and the provider’s obligations. The cookie choice is stored on the device for 6 months and the language preference for 12 months.

6. Security and automated decisions

Technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the processing are used. Typos Studio does not carry out profiling or decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection in the cases provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR. To exercise these rights, write to info@studiotypos.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.

8. Updates

This notice may be updated when the website’s functions or providers change. The date above identifies the current version.
